Day 1 : Arrive in New Delhi – Jaipur (2 nights) : Our representatives shall pick you up from Delhi Airport. Then we shall drive towards Jaipur. Check in Hotel. Later we shall visit the fabled Pink City, the Jaipur of old. Drive through the Johari Bazaar to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory- Jantar Mantar. Pay a visit to the Govind Deoji Temple. Evening free for shopping, etc. Overnight at the 3-star Umaid Bhawan hotel or similar. Day 2 : Jaipur City Tour : After breakfast at the hotel visit the magnificent Amber Palace. See the Largest Cannon on Wheels in the World, and old cannon foundry at Jaigarh. Visit the Kanak Vrindavan Temple in the valley of flowers. Evening visit Chokhi Dhani for Rajasthani traditional Dinner with dance and Music. Overnight at the 3-star Umaid Bhawan hotel or similar. Day 3 : Jaipur – Agra ( 2 nights) : Departure after breakfast for Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, once a capital of Mughal Emperor-Akbar. Have a look at the historic forts and the monuments to experience the rich Indian and Persian architecture . Day 4 : Agra City Tour : After breakfast at the hotel we shall visit the Agra Fort, Itmad – Ud – Daulah & Taj Mahal, the white marble beauty and one of the wonders of the world, which will delight you with its splendor at twilight. Day 5 : Agra –Gwalior- Orchha (2 nights) : After breakfast, we shall drive towards Orchha. On way we shall visit Gwalior, one of the largest princely states in pre independence time. The Gwalior fort has great historic value. On arrival at Orchha, check in the hotel. Overnight at the 3-star Bundelkhand Riverside hotel or similar. Day 6 : Orchha City tour : After breakfast, visit the main attractions of the city, the Orchha Fort, located on an island in the Betwa River. Then the temple Raja Ram and Chaturbhuj Mandir. Orchha has 14 chhattri memorials in honor of its successive governors. Day 7 : Orchha – Khajuraho : After breakfast, drive towards Khajuraho. On arrival check in the hotel. Later visit the Chausath Yogini Temple, the oldest (900 AD) and dedicated to the goddess Kali. Then you head to the Kanderiya Mahadeo Temple, one of the finest and intricate examples of sculptures. You will also see the temple dedicated to Shiva, the lingam Matangeshwara which measures 8 feet high. Overnight at the 3-star Ramada hotel or similar. Day 8 : Khajuraho City Tour : After breakfast, visit the Ghantai Temple, a small Jain temple in ruins, Duladeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, found after about 1 km from a small track, Chitragupta Temple whose side is facing the rising sun and for this reason dedicated to the sun god, Surya. The Lakshmana Temple which is dedicated to Vishnu, one of the oldest in the western part (about 930-950 AD). Day 9 : Departure from Khajuraho : After breakfast transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
